Hello there! We are a team of 2 mothers who are also physiotherapists.
Mitéra, which means ‘mother’ in Ancient Greek, was born out of our passion to create beautiful and stable footwear for our little ones. Understanding how footwear can alter the biomechanics and gait of our little ones, we were determined to seek and create shoes that were structurally ideal.
As we watched our own little ones develop through their years, it also lit a tiny spark in our hearts to curate good quality footwear we would personally have our own little ones wear.
Mitéra is essentially an expression of our motherhood journeys and a passion outlet where we seek only to share the best with you. We hope you believe in our ethos and enjoy our thoughtfully designed footwear to accompany you and your little ones!
Thank you so much for supporting our humble business.
Our vision
Before the final product comes to light, multiple rounds of product modification/sampling were done to ensure that the material, fit, and aesthetic were customized to the best version possible. We designed these products with our own children in mind, and we hope that they will fit and serve your child well too. Mother to mother, it is the least we hope we could do for you.
As we expand as a brand, we will work hard to bring you more products that are well worth your investment. We produce in small quantities to ensure quality control, and pride ourselves on providing designs that are classic and one of a kind in this world.
As our customer
We understand that there are so many needs to be met, and we try our best to reflect them in our products. Quality and comfort of the shoes are aspects that we do not compromise on, and you will be able to find a good selection of colors that are easy to match!
If you are planning to purchase a pair from us, or a returning customer, we want you to know that your support for us is very much appreciated. It will go a long way to fund our subsequent shoe productions for the little ones and keep this dream alive.
If there is anything else you think could be improved on, please drop us a DM!
